Ricardo was the perfect choice for our wedding and the ultimate professional.
We booked Ricardo for our ceremony, right through to the party in the evening. For the ceremony, he was the perfect choice and set the tone for the day beautifully. He played alongside our chosen songs during the aisle walk, and I’m sure there wasn’t a guest with a dry eye!
Throughout the day he matched his playing and song choices to perfectly fit the moment, from the celebration after the ceremony and confetti throw to engaging with guests at the drinks reception, from our cut of the cake and first dance to the party in the evening.
We were initially nervous that having a violin all day would become repetitive, but this couldn’t have been further from the truth; Ricardo was able to effortlessly change his playing styles and songs to match the moment. He was able to be background music when needed, or the centre of the party on the dance floor in the evening.
Our guests are still talking about being ‘serenaded’ during the drinks reception and partying with Ricardo on the dance floor.
He’s charming, brilliantly skilled with a violin and the perfect booking for a wedding.

Como fizemos um wedfest — um casamento estilo festival de música, moderno, edgy e nada tradicional — procurávamos alguém que conseguisse sair completamente do registo clássico habitual. E o Ricardo percebeu isso na perfeição desde o primeiro momento. Adaptou-se às nossas escolhas musicais mais “fora da caixa” (com músicas rock, metal, punk e alternativas), e conseguiu transformá-las em momentos absolutamente mágicos com o violino elétrico ao vivo. Com o bónus de ainda ter tocado uma música 'extra' ao seu pacote habitual, uma oferta que muito apreciámos. A música ficou MESMO incrível e tornou a cerimónia ainda mais especial e memorável.
Além do talento gigante, foi sempre super atencioso, profissional e flexível. Teve imenso cuidado em perceber como queríamos enquadrar o serviço dele no ambiente e conceito do casamento, adaptou-se ao dress code e trabalhou super bem com os restantes fornecedores. Sentimos mesmo que queria fazer parte da experiência e ajudar a concretizar a nossa visão do dia.
E ainda tivemos a surpresa querida de ver imagens lindíssimas do nosso casamento partilhadas nas redes sociais dele, algo que nos emocionou muito.

Ricardo played amazingly for us at our reception cocktail and party! He really brought a fantastic energy to the party and the guests absolutely loved how he played with us on the dance floor. He was so easy to work with from the beginning, super flexible and incredibly talented, working with a cellist we had also hired to create the most wonderful ambiance and a very special rendition of our first dance song.
We were genuinely so thrilled to have Ricardo playing for our special day and would love to have the chance to work with him again if we’re ever in Portugal
